World Wildlife Day - Listen to the Young Voices

Birdwatching children © Niels Gilissen/Miratio Every 3 March World Wildlife Day is celebrated around the globe to commemorate the day on which CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) was signed. World Wildlife Day aims to raise awareness about the importance of conserving the planet’s animals. This will be the fourth year that this day is celebrated and it is hoped that with the support of international community it will continue to grow. It is vitally important to protect wildlife from the dire consequences of climate change, pollution, habitat loss, illegal trade, and poaching.
