UNSSC and IE University will Launch a New Master's program with a Focus on Sustainable Development This Friday

The United Nations System Staff College and the Instituto de Empresa University have partnered with each other to launch an innovative Master's program focusing on sustainable development. The one-year program will provide key skills and competencies for the next generation of leaders and policy makers to address the complex challenges highlighted by the 2030 Agenda.

The masterclass will explore key notions of sustainable development, examine the three pillars of sustainable development and the five critical areas (also known as the 5P). The speaker will address the interlinkages between sustainable development and climate change, planetary boundaries, social inclusion, and human rights, as well as the key lessons learned from the Millennium Development Goals implementation.

In this regard we are excited to announce the official launch event at the Marriott Hotel Bonn, this Friday, 3 May 2019 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm.

Simona Costanzo Sow, Learning Portfolio Manager at UNSSC, will be the keynote speaker of the event. IE University and UNSSC representatives will also be present to provide more information on the joint UNSSC-IE Master in International Development (MID) program to interested candidates.
