The 10th Plenary Session of IPBES has kicked off in Bonn
Representing more than 140 governments, the 10th Plenary Session of the Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) has begun in Bonn. IPBES 10 will strengthen the science-policy interface for diversity and ecosystem services.
On 4 September, the Invasive Alien Species Report is planned to be launched, a collaborative effort by 86 global experts from 49 nations.
Biological invasions disrupt ecosystems, cause biodiversity loss, produce synergistic impacts with climate change and other environmental stressors, and threaten human well- being.
