Art and Sustainability evening organized by UNU-EHS, DIE and University of Bonn
UNU-EHS, the German Development Institute (DIE) and the University of Bonn jointly organize an evening on Art and Sustainability, which will take place on 3 April 2019 at the University of Bonn’s Senate Hall
Tone Bjordam will show her recent piece “Water” and focus on how nature can help to trigger a state of mind which generates new ideas and how art and sustainability can interact.
Dirk Wilutzky will show excerpts from his series “What is it to be done?” He will elaborate on this vision of a sustainable world and what art and film can do to engage all of society in the critical process of moving towards sustainability.
Prof Dirk Messner will guide the audience through the evening. He is the Director of the United Nations University, Institute for Environment and Human Security and he has spent more than three decades researching all aspects of sustainability.
