Sustainable Development Leaders Scholarship

The United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) and IE School of Global and Public Affairs (IEGPA) have jointly launched a Master in International Development, a world-class training program for professionals who want to address the complex challenges highlighted by the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.The first cohort will begin classes in September 2019 in Madrid (Spain). The faculty will be made up of high-level experts, many of them currently working for the United Nations, as well as top scholars in sustainable development. All sessions will be conducted in English.

The Sustainable Development Leaders Scholarship is available for staff members of the United Nations who are accepted into the Master in International Development and demonstrate strong commitment to sustainable development, academic excellence, outstanding contribution and leadership potential. UNSSC is looking for candidates who are seeking to understand complexity and are passionate about using their insights to make a difference and aim to assume a higher level of responsibility after graduation. The Master in International Development has a total tuition of 32,000 EUR, including the cost of the one-week immersion experience in Geneva. There are seven scholarships available to cover 40% of the tuition (12,800 EUR) for each student.
