Statement by Bonn's Lord Mayor Sridharan on Covid-19
Dear UN Bonn and international Community,
the COVID-19 pandemic is challenging Bonn, is challenging us. In agreement with the state authorities, the City of Bonn has adopted extensive measures to slow down the spread of the virus. Flattening the infection curve means protecting the most vulnerable parts of our communities: the elderly and people with existing serious medical conditions.
Together, we can and will master this extreme situation, even if it takes sacrifices: Please refrain from social contacts in order to protect yourself and the people around you.
Let us stand side by side while staying at a safe distance from each other.
