The UNSSC Knowledge Centre for Sustainable Development presents SD Talks [Global]: Eradicating Poverty Through Education.

Join us in charming Haus Carstanjen on 5th April, 1:15 pm CEST for a conversation with Dr. Achyuta Samanta, founder of the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences, as we talk about his experiences in tackling poverty through education and women's empowerment.

Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences is one of the largest free residential institutes providing education, food, and accommodation to over 25,000 indigenous (tribal) children in India. To get a glimpse into the work of the Kalinga Institute, watch the video below.
